3 minute lecture......

3 min lecture........ just something I wrote for a class

Last night racking my brain for this 3 minute lecture...... OH... let me make it clear it wasn't out of procastination just thought it would give me better perspective of the last 6 weeks.... I almost went in to panic........ ahhhhhh What happened this month???, what should I talk about??? HMMMMM..... I thought and thought, while I worked, while I showered, while I ate. I finally decided this time not to share with you details of places I've being, not to share with you details of all the spectacular jewelry I have not seen, or share with you magazines I've cut up.I've decided to talk of my everyday life. Everyday, well almost.... I walk, I love walking. And on my walks I encounter such amazing things. Stickers on lampposts, rocks, trash, strange formations on the sidewalk, on the clouds. Smells, sounds and images that ignite my imagination. It's this little amazing things that I experience in my daily life what enriches my way of living. Recently I got a book that goes by the title How to be an explorer of the world. When I opened it up I felt a sense of familiarity with what it talked. It began stating that everything is interesting and how one should like artist or scientist, observe, collect, analyze compare, notice patterns. I think that so many times we are so focused on finding spectacular and out of the ordinary things to fuel our creativity that we lose the most extraordinary thing which in my opinion is looking at everything with fresh eyes. Looking with enthusiasm at those things that surrounds us and in the process making the ordinary in to the extraordinary.
